Fry's first opened their doors in 1761, making and selling the finest chocolates in Bristol. Innovation was at the heart of their business and they produced the UK's first solid chocolate bar in 1847, shortly followed by Fry's Chocolate Cream, the first factory-produced chocolate bar in 1866, and the first Easter egg in 1873.
The original Turkish Delight, also known as 'Lokum' originates from Turkey. Fry's Turkish Delight was first launched in 1914 and was an instant success. Full of eastern promise, it has a delicate rose-flavoured centre covered in a thin layer of smooth milk chocolate.
